In this article, we'll show you how you can duplicate invoices that you're sending out. Normally, you'd be able to do this with a subscription structure in Stripe, but specifically Stripe Connect accounts don't have this option (for some reason) and plus, you may want to make a slight tweak before the next invoices goes out that can't be captured with a subscription. There's a bunch of reasons why you might want to duplicate an invoice and in this article you'll learn how to do it automatically so you aren't clicking around in Stripe at the end of every month so invoices can go out on time.
Here's how to do it:
- Get the URL of the invoices you want to duplicate.. Dimely agents can also pull it for you but it's probably easier to maintain a list yourself so you can have complete control over what you want duplicated.
- Put the URL of the invoices into a spreadsheet like Google Sheets or somewhere an agent can access
- Tell the Dimely agent what data manipulations (if any) should be done. For example, you might want to change the SKU name, update the supply name, increase prices, etc. You can do this by telling the agent what to do and it'll do it for you
- Have the agent execute the duplication workflow. You're done!
Don't believe that this is that easy? Below's a short Loom video of how we were able to set up this workflow and can help you do this as well.
